PROJECT RECAP:

José Andrés Group

As Senior Director of Digital Marketing for José Andrés Group (2019–2022), I helped lead the company’s digital evolution as it transitioned from ThinkFoodGroup into a unified restaurant group brand. The opportunity extended beyond launching individual restaurant websites—it was about creating a cohesive digital identity that reflected the organization’s mission, growing portfolio, and long-term vision.

My Role

Working closely with leadership, I helped develop and execute the digital strategy for both the restaurant group and its collection of restaurant brands.

This included leading the development of JoseAndres.com, creating and launching more than a dozen restaurant websites, and establishing a digital ecosystem that connected the corporate brand with its individual concepts. Beyond the websites themselves, I oversaw CRM, email marketing, paid social, analytics, guest engagement, and digital performance across the portfolio while managing an internal team alongside agency and freelance partners.

I also led digital strategy for José Andrés’ personal website, eCommerce business, and newsletter, ensuring consistency across every consumer-facing digital touchpoint.

Results

The transition from ThinkFoodGroup to José Andrés Group created a stronger digital foundation for the organization, giving the company a unified online presence while continuing to support the unique identity of each restaurant concept.
